My Pledge

I am a child of God.
I am the apple of His eye.
I am eternally loved by God.
In Christ, I am secure.
In Christ, I am significant.
In Christ, I am adequate.
I rest on His faithfulness.
I trust His all-sufficient grace.
I trust His divine timing.
I am done with worrying.
I am done with the fear of results.
I am done with harboring my pain, my anger and grudges.
I am done with living just for myself.
I declare this world is not my home.
I will use the God-given wealth, the God-given strength and health to serve God and His Purpose.
I shall run the race.
I shall fight the good fight.
I shall keep the faith.
I choose to walk the ways of God.
I choose to obey His commands.
I choose to do His will.
I want to experience God everyday.
I want to be serious about Bible study.
I want to be serious about prayer.
I want to be serious about making my life count for the Kingdom of God.
I will not give up or shut up until I stepped up, prayed up and kept up serving my generation for the glory of Jesus Christ, my Lord.

Message to All People.

I had changed after knowing God. I seems to see things in a different way. I'm more positive and more happy. Life to me is not a misery anymore but filled with Hope and love.

Have you ever wonder, why God sent His Only Son to die for our sin? We are so unworthy, yet He sent His Son for us. Bcos He loves each and everyone of us. Even those who turn away from Him, or ppl who hated him. Will you send your only child to die for your enemnies? No. We wont. Or will you give up your life for your enemnies/friends? No. We wont. But God-Jesus does.

He's a God who can be like your faithful friend, your gracious dad, your great counselor, your listening ear.

When you are down at you lowest pit, He will be there, He will not forsake you.
When you are bullied by people, He is your strength.
When you are confused, seek Him and He will give you answer in His timing.
When you have a secret, you can confide in Him.
When your broken hearted, broken homes, He will heal.

There's too many things I can say about Him. But i guess all this is enough. HE loves us. Do we return our love to Him? He had done so much for us and yet we don't believe and love him? We are being so ungrateful. He Suffered for us. He suffered more than you can imagine. The pain, the humiliation, the tortured, the beating. Not that Jesus doesn't want to do anything when He suffered, if He wants to kill all those who torture him, it's so easy for Him to do so. But why he doesn't stop His situation? Bcos of us and our sin, and He loves us, therefore, He is willing to die on the cross for us and took up all the punishment tat should be on us. He can't bear to see us suffering in this punishment. Can you imagine you are in Jesus's situation? Can you imagine you suffered the same things as Him? I can't imagine. Cos it's too painful, unbearable. Thanks God for saving us from this suffering. And now when we have a little suffering, we grumbled, and yet Jesus didn't grumble a single word. But in constast with Jesus's Suffering, ours are nothing. See, how great is Our God.

So do you wanna Love and believe in a God Like Him? Will you wanna accept His Love?

This is a email i Receive from Clarissa in one of the day and it actually strengthen my faith and encourage me on trying to do more CE, to share the gospel to more people even those whom I don't evn know or related to me. I prayed that all people will get to know more about Jesus Christ, Our Savior!

A testimony that will soften our heart but strengthen our faith.We can be God's angel if we obey...


Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at the church,
thePastor and his eleven year old son would go out into their town
and hand out Gospel Tracts.

This particular Sunday afternoon,
as it came time forthe Pastor and his son to go to the streets with their tracts,
it was very cold outside, as well as pouring down rain.

The boy bundled up in hiswarmest and driest clothes
and said, 'OK, dad, I'm ready.'
His Pastor dad asked, 'Ready for what?'
'Dad, it's time we gather our tracts together and go out.'
Dad responds,'Son, it's very cold outside and it's pouring down rain.'

The boy gives his dad a surprised look,
asking, 'But Dad, aren't people still going to Hell, even though it's raining?'
Dad answers, 'Son, I am not going out in this weather.'
Despondently,the boy asks, 'Dad, can I go? Please?'
His father hesitated for a moment then said, 'Son, you can go.
Here arethe tracts, be careful son....’
'Thanks Dad!'

And with that, he was off and out into the rain.
His eleven year old boywalked the streets of the town going door to door
and handingeverybody he met in the street a Gospel Tract.
After two hours of walking in the rain,
he was soaking, bone-chilled wetand down to his VERY LAST TRACT.

He stopped on a corner and looked forsomeone to hand a tract to,
but the streets were totally deserted.
Then he turned toward the first home he saw and started up the sidewalk
to the front door and rang the door bell.
He rang the bell, but nobody answered.
He rang it again and again, but still no one answered.
He waited but still no answer.

Finally, this eleven year old trooper turned to leave,
but something stopped him.
Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell
and knocked loudly on the door with his fist.
He waited, something holding him there on the front porch!
He rang again and this timethe door slowly opened.

Standing in the doorway was a very sad-looking elderly lady.
She softly asked, 'What can I do for you, son?'

With radiant eyes and a smile that lit up her world,
this little boy said, 'Ma'am, I'm sorry if I disturbed you,
but I justwant to tell you that
*JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU*
and I came to giveYou my very last Gospel Tract
which will tell you all about
JESUS and His great LOVE.'

With that, he handed her his last tract and turned to leave.
She called to him as he departed.
'Thank you, son! And God Bless You!'

Well, the following Sunday morning in church Pastor Dad was in the pulpit.
As the service began, he asked,
'Does anybody have any testimony or want to say anything?'

Slowly, in the back row of the church, an elderly lady stood to her feet.
As she began to speak, a look of glorious radiance came from her face,

'No one in this church knows me. I've never been here before.
You see, before last Sunday I was not a Christian.
My husband passed on some time ago, leaving me totally alone in this world.
Last Sunday, being a particularly cold and rainy day,
it waseven more so in my heart that I came to the end of the line
where I no longer had any hope or will to live.
So I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway
into the attic of my home.

I fastened the rope securely to a rafter inthe roof,
then stood on the chair and fastened the other end of the rope around my neck.
Standing on that chair,
so lonely and brokenhearted I was about to leap off,
when suddenly the loud ringing ofmy doorbell downstairs startled me.
I thought,'I'll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away.'

I waited andwaited, but the ringing doorbell seemed to get louder
and more insistent, and then the person ringing also started knocking loudly.
I thought to myself again, '
Who on earth could this be? Nobody ever rings my bell or comes to see me.'
I loosened the rope from my neck and started for the front door,
all the while the bell rang louder and louder.

When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes,
for there on my front porch
was the most radiant andangelic little boy I had ever seen in my life.
His SMILE, oh, I could never describe it to you!

The words that came from his mouth
caused my heart that had long been dead,
TO LEAP TO LIFE
as he exclaimedwith a cherub-like voice,
'Ma'am, I just came to tell youthat
JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU.'

Then he gave me this Gospel Tract
that I now hold in my hand.
As the little angel disappeared back out into the cold and rain,
I Closed my door and read slowly
every word of this Gospel Tract.
ThenI went up to my attic to get my rope and chair.
I wouldn't be needing them any more.

You see---I am now a Happy Child of the KING.
Since the address of your church was on the back of this Gospel Tract,
I have come here to Personally say
THANK YOU to God's little angel who came just in the nick of time
and by so doing, spared my soul from an eternity in hell.

'There was not a dry eye in the church.
And as shouts of praise and honor
To THE KING
resounded off the very rafters of the building,
Pastor Dad descended from the pulpit to the front pew
where the little angel was seated.

He took his son in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably.
Probably no church has had a more glorious moment,
and probably this universe has never seen a Papa that
was more filled with love & honor forhis son...
Except for One. Our Father also allowed His Son
to go out into a cold and dark world.

He received His Son back with joy unspeakable,
and as all of heaven shouted praises and honor to The King,
the Father sat His beloved Son on a throne far above
all principality and power and every name that is named.

Blessed are your eyes for reading this message.
Don't let this message die, read it again and pass it to others.
Heaven is for His people!
God's message CAN make the difference in the life of someone close to you.

The Never Understand World Lives On

1. THINGS WE CAN’T EXPLAIN WHY( Part 2)

Many things happening in our surrounding include the good times and times when the problems started to arouse in each and every one’s life, no matter we liked it or not. There’s bound to have different moments that happened in this realistic world which is beyond our control. Anything can happen anytime, anywhere and to anyone. And it can be with or without sign.

Just like the time won’t wait for anyone.

For example: (Jobs interview)

You forget to go for an interview that is important to you and you call back to the company and thinking that maybe you still can make another appointment to go for the interview but in the end, because you didn’t turn up for the interview and so they have hire some other people who needs the job as much as you do. You cannot do anything to change it and you miss this chance and do not know when your next chance is. Time and tide wait for no man.

Another example: (Relationship)

Just like when you miss your chance to tell how much you love that person and how much he/she mean to you and will be leaving you and will never come back, there will be no second chance. Once anyone miss the chance, will be gone forever even how much you do to get it back after you regretted, there’s no turning back. You can cry and hate yourself for everything but it’s fruitless because you can never have it back. If you do not want to regret, do something before anything happens. It’s useless to cry over spilt milk.

If you have done something wrong or even you have let someone down, do repent, go tell him/her or who ever the person is that how seriously sorry or remorseful you are and tell him/her how you feel about the whole thing either conflict or unfaithfulness and seek for forgiveness of him/her or who ever the person is, don’t let the situation go to an extend that nothing can be done to change the situation. And at that time, there’s really no chance. Don’t beg and cried after all this had happened. There is no meaning to it.

NOTE: *Grab hold of everything that means something to you dun miss the chance of saying what is deep in your heart, don’t keep it to yourself because of the pride we, human have, if you don’t say it now, the other people will not know that how much he/she meant so much to you and don’t even know how you feel about them, show them you love them very much, don’t let go what is meant for you now, because you will never know what will happen in the future. Prevention is better than cure.

1. THINGS WE CAN’T EXPLAIN WHY (Part 1)

There are many things that happen in this world that we are living, and yet none of us know why. I think the reason is that none of us are sensible enough to see the things that are happening in our mist. The question scarcely registered in each and every one’s thinking. We are always questioning why this and that happened, but have we ever ponder deep enough to see what is the profound, true meaning and what is the real purpose for things to happen in this way?

I feel that each and every one of us should give some serious thoughts about what I had said and truly understand the reason for the things to happen. However, even if we don’t see it why now, there will be a right time to let you know the true reason of the things that had happened that seems like hell to you. But there are some things that happened and can be solve by action, I think everyone knows what to do and not just using the mouth of ours and keep questioning why. Action speaks louder than words. Words that are empty is meaningless, it’s like empty promises.

I have something to ask all of you? Do you believe there's God? Do you think that you need a God or 'Nah, I don't need a God, my life is alright'?

This is through my experience of sharing the gospel, no matter in school, on streets or your own group of friends with my friends from SYFC. What does SYFC stands for? SYFC stands for 'Singapore Youth For Christ'.

We will share gospel to people. The people we meet are not all so open to this topic, but some are willing to listen, willing to repond. I believed that everyone of them we had shared the gospel to them is not by chance but it's God's plan that they shall hear the good news and truth that we bought to them. They may not believe in what we say today but I believe they will accept this truth now. But maybe not through us.

Sometimes they will ask us. 'Can you prove to me that God does exist? If you can, I will believe in what you say.' But my only reply will be an example: 'God is just like the air, can you see the oxygen that we are breathing everyday? No right? Since you can't see it how can you believe that what you breathe in is oxygen and it actually exist?'

And usually after we shared the gospel, we hope to get some respond so we let them choose like saying: ' There's 3 people after hearing the gospel, Person A wants to accept God's love and believe in Him, Person B wants to know more about God, Person C wants to live their own life, (' Nah, I don't need a God, my life is alright')

For those who choose Person A, we are very happy for them. They have found the truth and the way. We will pray for them. They have accepted God into their life. It's a new life. ( We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. - Roman 6:4 )

For those who choose Person B, we will pray for them. Praying that they will find the truth and the way. Can accept God as their Savior and their God. Good that they want to find out more.

For those who choose Person C, we will still pray for them. We are not giving up on them. We just hope someone will still lead them to the truth one day.

In my point of view of those people who choose Person C (' Nah, I don't need a God, my life is alright') thinks that life is smoothe and everything is great. Life is so happy. Every happiness is written on the face. It's just at this point of time. Life will never be so smooth there's sure ups and downs. When people tell me that their life is perfect, they are always happy. I doubt it's true. I believe each and everyone of us have our own problems. Like i say before, it may not be that your face is happy. You feel happy meaning you dont have problem. Your problem is even bigger, because you not facing it but rather you're avoiding it. You are just telling yourself that everything is going to be fine. This will work when the problem is minor. If the problem is major it's impossible for you to be so calm to tell yourself that everything is going to be fine.

What you experience now, the happiness that you are having now, it does not last forever, it maybe here now, but gone tomorrow. Who can be sure that the happiness that you own now will be forever?

For example: You are borned in a very rich family. You are living in a super big house, grand car to drive you about and to school, with all the branded stuff and living happily with your family and your friends and who knows one day, your dad is filed bankrupt. Your big house have to sell, you have to live a life that you never imagine you would ever live in. Live in small house that you have squeezed with your family members. Seize every chance when you can use the toilet. No more grand cars but public transport. No more branded stuff. Your smile on your face had disappear and more frown had appeared on your face. You have work because not enough money for your education. And you are sicked of this kind of life. Isn't that you are at the edge of giving up and falling down?At this point time is it possible to tell yourself that 'well it's alright, everything is going to be okay' ?

This is just an example. Your case maybe different but all in all it shares a similaries and that is you find that you are at the edge of giving up and falling down and who do you want to turn to? Your parents? Your friends? Your relative? Who? I believe there are somethings that maybe hard to share or talk about to friends, relatives or even family members. And now I want to introduce someone who you can turn to and He can be your listening ear, your soul's healer, your Advisor, your Counselor. And He is Jesus Christ. He is always there for you. He will not forsake you when you needed Him most. He will be your greatest help.

Listen to me. for i think everyone need God. We are limited, alot of things are beyond our human control. You may not need Him now but you will realise that you need Him one day. And I can be sure that He will still be there for you. No matter how many times you turn away from Him, you rejected His love. He will never forsake you but rather embrace you with warm and love.

Trust me! You will realise this one day.

As she slips in trying to fade into the faces
The girl's teasing laughter is carrying farther than they know

But if we are the body
Why aren't His arms reaching?
Why aren't His hands healing?
Why aren't His words teaching?

Why is His love not showing them there is a way?

Jesus payed much too high a price
For us to pick and choose who should come

Jesus is the way

I think that this song is a reminder to Christian that we should share the gospel to many more people. We are the body of Christ. We should not keep this blessing and good news to ourselves but we should share to those who we loved and even stranger. More and more people should get to know Jesus Christ. We, Christian can only lead the missing sheep to the open doors but whether the sheep wants to enter the open door and accept God's love is the choice of the sheep.

Some Old Photos- CTI BBQ on 26 Oct

The SYFC had a event that was having a BBQ with the CTI Christian Band Group.

Carpenter's Tools International:
"Through music and personal testimony, CTI is taking the Message to the World! Short-term and full-time ministry teams have visited over fifty countries, singing in high schools, churches, prisons, orphanages, and open air concerts, telling the Good News about Jesus Christ."

And I had invited my friends: Eve, Kelly and Daphne who went for the BBQ. CTI members shared their testimony and sharing the GOOD NEWS to them. I'm Glad that I had chance to share to them. I said alot and they heard alot. I hope that they will really think about the things I said that day. I was telling them that now I had given them an open doors to invite them to join me in God's family. And the choice is theirs, I can't possibly force them to accept Christ. I tried my best to share as much as possible. I'm not sure how much they understand. However, I prayed for their heart to be soften that they will not miss out this blessing and love from God. I love them so i pray that they will accept Christ one day.

And I'm no one special to be the only one who have the priviledge to have God's love to have a relationship with God, like a Father, like A friend or even my Counselor. Anyone can, as long as you accept Him as your God, your Saviour and accept His Love. You will be the same as me. A God who loves you no matter who you are, how ugly you are, how sinful you are. God Loves you. I told them not by chance that they came for this BBQ but God is showing His way to them. They just need to accept it or not. God's love is greater than any love you can find and want from the world. This days our world is different, not as innocence, not as loving, not as kind, not as humanities, but destructive,cruel, cold, war, bribed. We need to get out of all this. We needs God's love, God's salvations, God's help, God's console. I believe they will understand one day, without God, there wont be You and I.

Okay enough said! That day we had good food and the best thing is that we don't have to cook ourselves and we enjoyed the CTI performance. They really perform well.. We really Enjoyed it! And what they said about their love stories with God. It's Great! Love them! CTI ROCKS! They even sang the song "We Believe" -By Good Charlotte. It's a nice and meaningful songs. Though the lyrics is in my old blog, I shall Post it here once more =)

Outing With Eve ALone!

Today had been a hectic day for me. Quiz and Lab Test and project checking. But I believe we will get more busy soon. Studies has always been like this for years. Now looking back, it actually amazed me that I had went through all this hardship and being able to survive. Thanks to God that He had always been my support, my guidance, my consoler, my friend. God has been my great help and my moral support. He encourage me and help me. Thanks God.


After 2 days of off day from school, I felt a little reluctant to go to school. But I have to, because it's happening in school with quiz!


After school, Eve and I had finally time to let down our hair and enjoyed the good food, good photo taking, shopping. We spend rather quality time together and I am real glad! (:

The Burden Of Discontent

We, human beings are the most discontented creatures. Even how good we get for our academic or excel in our job. We will never think that we are good enough. First, we just wants to excel in our job or studies, next, once we reached our goal, we will find that this is not enough, i need to be better in order to satisfy my goals.

Some of us have endless goals. And started to get weary when you find that you are actually far-off your dreams/goals. You may try to squeeze in any chances of obtaining what you want but don't complain your consequences that you need to bear, which is self-doubt, inferior, unhappiness, discontentment, weariness, etc. Don't blame anyone for your unhappiness, you choose this route, you should be responsible.You cause your own problems, your own troubles, your own unhappiness. It's all Starts from "YOU". So what if you get into the most great Uni, have a very good job with good pay but you lose your happiness, lose the purpose of life? You may think you had achieve and increase what you wan, but actually you lose a lot of things that is much more important than what you achieved. I have a question for you all. Why should you get weary about all this when you don't even know if you will be alive tomorrow? Can you be sure that you will wake up tomorrow? I am not sure if I can still breathe tomorrow's air because I have no control over my life.

Life is short and you want to waste your time to worry about all this rubbish? I won't want it. I believe that no matter how things going to work out and no matter how much we want to get our target or goals. God has already plan a path for you to walk. No matter you like it or not, God knows what's best for you and I. We may think that our targets/goals that we are looking for is good, is what we desire. However, God Knows what you need better than yourself, because He is the Creator of the Heaven and Earth and most importantly He created you and I. Without Him, we have nothing, Without Him, we will be nothing. What we think maybe good, but it may not be good in God's view and He knows that if you continue to go towards the target will harm you instead of benefitting you. God will not let you walk in that path.

And you have two choices. 1) You follow your own desire and make your life difficult or 2) Follow God's guide and walk along the path. I'm not saying that once you choose to follow God, your path will be super smooth. NO. You will still have ups and downs but you know that you're not alone, because God will be by your side to walk along with you. No matter what difficulties you may leave it to Him.

Do you know that People get killed because of their stubbornness? We provided them a choice, but they choose not to listen and continue to think that what they think is correct. Depression comes from anger, depress, negative thoughts. You are living in a world filled with destructions, despair, brutal-ness. You still choose to live a life that is so sad, so hopeless, so agony? Don't you think that you need some happiness? Don't you think that you are wasting your time, your youth on such topics?

I find that you should live a more meaningful life than a life filled with sorrows and you think that you are the only one who live in the worst of all. Academic and work is important but I feel that as long as you did your best. You have an account to yourself. Not that you didn't work hard enough but that's your limit. You should accept it and move on.

I don't mean that Goals and Targets are not important and we shouldn't think about it. Goals and Targets are good, because we know what we want and we know what we can do but not over doing it if you know your limit. Life is not just about acdaemic/work but there are more things that we need to learn.Like moral values, personal values, learning to love one another and learning how to get along with people. We need all this to grow, to be mature.

Sometimes I just can't understand why people will think that their life is going to get worst as time pass and i find it puzzled why people choose to live in agony rather than happiness? I feel sorrow for them. I used to be a negative thinker. However, I'm not one of them now. And I'm glad. Thanks God for taking me out from that group.

Like I say before, I'm very content with what I have with me, my family, my friends, my pet, my relatives, my churchmates and all my electrical stuff and everything. I felt that I've more than what I deserve. God had given me much more than I expected. I felt that God's love is what makes me content. You don't think that God's love is necessary and a must. We are sinners, we don't deserved any love from God. But God choose to love us even those who turn away from God. He can Choose not to but because He's like Our Father, He loves us, that's why He embraced you even you turn away from Him, even you don't trust Him, because you are His Creation, and no matter how bad you are, you are still a child of God.

We should be content that we have a shelter to hid us from rain, food that people starts on diet and stop consuming them, television that entertain us when we are bored, computers for us to access when doing research or connecting with friends, a bed to sleep at night, a clean toilet to be used. A develop and peaceful place to live. Have you ever thought of those people who leave in the third world countries? They have no shelter/poor shelter, they have no food but eat tree's bucks, they have no television, no computer, no bed to sleep on, no clean toilet, no money for educations, sometimes they have to run for life, hid from war, their life is at risk all the time. Who is worst? You or them? You should be contented.
